RBD has initiated a project within P4Mi to empower migrants who aspire to become social entrepreneurs. After months of careful planning and a thorough application process, we proudly launched our Social Entrepreneurship Acceleration Program in May 2024. This 4-month program is designed specifically for Cultural Mediators and emerging social entrepreneurs.
The event was filled with positive energy, thanks to a dynamic and diverse group of participants eager to create social impact in the Netherlands. Our day began with an inspiring introduction by Rahel Boon-Dejene, who shared P4Mi’s vision and outlined the program for the next four months. We organized interactive activities to help participants connect, along with workshops and peer-to-peer coaching sessions.
We delved into the concept of social entrepreneurship and the opportunities available to the 20 exceptional migrants who are already making significant contributions toward a better society in the Netherlands. We are excited by the passion and drive of our participants, and we look back on a productive day marked by a strong sense of community and collaboration.
We extend our gratitude to the Social Enterprise NL all-in program, powered by Google, which has enabled our team to build an inclusive social entrepreneurial ecosystem for migrants. Congratulations to all participants as they embark on their journey to turn their ideas into impactful work.
